Titleist Golf Equipment

Titleist Golf was founded by Phillip Young, he had previously owned and run a rubber company but as the rubber market went downhill he decided on an alternative industry. He was apparently a frustrated golfer, who one day thought he would x ray a golf ball to see what was inside and why they didn't fly straight. He found that many balls were off centre and thought this was an opportunity to provide a better golf ball that would fly straight. By the early 1930s he had devised a golf ball that used spun rubber that wrapped around a solid core to produce a golf ball that actually went straight. This developed after the war into a perfected golf ball that was the most played ball in the US open. In the 60s and 70s the company acquired other golf brands and started to produce Golf clubs and other equipment. In 1985 the group acquired the biggest name Foot-Joy probably the best known golf shoe in the world.
Even though Titleist are known for all of their golf equipment across the world they are probably best known for their golf balls. Their big breakthrough was their balata ball in the 1980s which offered golfers soft feel and control, the downside was that they split easy and you could destroy a lot of golf balls easily. They solved this with their Titleist professional ball which had the balata insides but a hard outside cover; yes it was expensive but very popular. As other companies followed their line they designed and developed their most famous ball the Titleist Pro V which is the most popular ball in the world and this has enabled them to stay ahead of the game.

Looking to open a pro shop and I want to carry Callaway, Titleist, etc. products. I am looking for a supplier of these products and have not been able to locate one. I am not interested in carrying knock offs of brand name golf equipment.

How much is a Car transmission used or rebuilt for a 2000 ford taurus?
My 23 yr old just needs it to run for 2 more years of school and is working while home from college. to help pay for this…He’s a demo guy for Titleist and Cobra golf equipment and has to travel 4 to 5 days a week in the Chicago land area. His car still runs but he thinks its going out. We spent 1500.00 last summer on new parts and service, now he needs tires and a transmission to get him through a hard working summer and college. How do I get good golf equipment for cheap?
Do name brand golf clubs work better? Is it a myth that they work better? Also which type of golf ball should I buy? For some reason I want to get the Titleist golf brand. I also noticed that the expensive name brand golf clubs seem not to be sold in golf club sets like an entire 14 clubs. At least it seems like that. Another thing I wanna do is figure out what type of exercise program I should do. Are there any specific golf related exercises that help work out the muscles that golf requires? Is there anything else I could do to improve my game? Anyway do you have any advice about finding a good practice range for driving, chipping, pitching, and putting? What should I look for and what would help my abilities more? Thank You
Why does my golf ball die in midair? Ball flight and equipment question.
I was trying out new cavity back golf irons: titleist 775, mizuno mx25, r7, x20. The ball started out the same with all 4 models, but with the titleists and mx25s, the ball sort of gave out after reaching its peak height. With the r7s and x20s the ball resumed in its normal fashion. My question is: why did the ball sort of die with the first two irons? The titleists and mx25 are forged irons and made of different metals so maybe that has something to do with it. They also have less offset and slightly smaller heads. I don’t feel it is a swing question because the balls came off the face similarly with all 4 irons. I used graphite shafts in all 4 models. Thanks.
my guess it the titleist and mx25 were not imparting the same spin as the others. If the ball comes off the club with little or no spin, it’ll act like a knuckle ball, and die as soon as gravity takes over.
