At your stage I suggest to invest around $150 to $200 for your clubs, a bag and a pull-cart. Try e-bay or if you are in the US try Edwin-Watts or Second-Time Around Sports, where the staff will be glad to advise you. For this kind of money you will get a good quality complete set of equipment that is still in good condition and will last you until you decide to upgrade or pack-up playing. In the long-term they will hold their resale value and you will be better served than buying a cheap new set, some of which are brittle and can break while you are learning how not to hit the rocks in the rough!
