I am middle aged and I just started last year.
I took 4 lessons along with a friend from a local pro. He provided the clubs for the lessons. After the 3rd lesson, I deceided I liked it and found a starter set of clubs. You can also get used clubs at a golf store if you don’t want to invest a lot in case you like it.
Also, some municipal courses offer group lessons. I am not sure about them providing the clubs though. Check them out in your area.
Beginning Golf: Where to Start?
I want to learn to golf, but I don’t know where to start. Until I am sure that it’s more than just a passing interest, I don’t want to go overboard investing in equipment. I’m middle aged and have had very little experience apart from Wii and mini-golf but it’s been enough to give me the “bug”. Should I buy or rent clubs? Where can I learn etiquette? Should I take lessons immediately?
Can somebody tell me with who i have to talk to get sponsored by any golf club brand,PING, CALLAWAY, CLEVELAN?
or any ohter brand I just turn pro, and I am playing in some mini tour events but I need a deal at least to get equipment when I need it.
I will try and answer as many as I can. I have been on almost every Carnival Ship, so here we go.
1. You get what room you paid for, sorry!
2.Most likely, not. A lot of cell phones dont have service out in the seas, and when they do, it will cost you a lot of mula. (Money) Plus, you dont really wanna talk on the phone when your cruising anyways, come on its a vacation!
3.You dont have to tip anything if you dont want to, people really dont know what they are talking about sometimes. You can tip as much as you want, if you want to at all.
4.Yes, definately. They have a whole side of the ship for non smoking rooms.
5.If you’d like, you might want to take them in your carry-on. Which is a small bag you take with you on the plane. Then, you can make sure you have it with you at all times.
6.Everything is allowed onboard, except no alchohol. When you go to one of the ports, and you buy something not allowed, they might hold it for you until the end, it depends what kind and everything.
7.Spa is NOT free, arcade, wine, casino, etc, you pay for everything with your sail and sign card on the ship though.
8.Thats true, but they have everything for you on the ship. You go up to a desk, and they put your card number down for your room, you get the stuff you need, you bring it back, and they sign you out.
Have fun, and i hope i helped
carnival cruise questions?
I might be going on a cruise next summer…and I need answers to all my questions…(Im going to Progresso,Yucatan and Cozumel on the Carnival Ecstacy)
1. If my family and I are 5 people do we get another room for no extra charge since we are 5?
2. Do any pre-paid phones have service all the way there?
3.I’ve read that the tipping policy is $10 per day,per guest is this true (if it is can you change it to less money)?
4.Are there non-smoking rooms?
5.Can you take Ipod’s, PSP’s etc. on board?
6.What items are not allowed on board? (straightners, perfumes, toothpaste, moose, hairspray, gel)?
7.What services are not free (ex.spa, salon)?
8.I read that on this ship there is a basketball court and mini-golf course,do you have to bring your own equipment to play?
I know these are alot of questions but I need them answered because this might decide if we are going or not! THNX!
