The best way to deal with sloping greens and breaking putts is to treat every putt as if it is perfectly straight. Now you might be wondering what on earth we are talking about, but it is actually quite simple and this is how it works:
Step 1: Firstly you have to identify how much a particular putt is going to break. Letâs say that that this putt is going to break two feet or 60 centimetres from the right. The hole itself now ceases to be your target. You now have a new target that is 2 feet or 60 centimetres to the right of the actual hole. So imagine that the hole has moved two feet to the right and putt the ball as if it is a straight putt.

Step 2: When going through your practice routine, aim the putter face and align your body as if you were putting the ball two feet to the right of the hole. You should focus on the imaginary hole two feet to the right of the actual hole.
Step 3: Now hit your putt straight to the imaginary hole two feet to the right of the actual hole and let the slope of the green take care of the rest.
The main reason for using this approach to putting on a sloped green is that you are more likely to make a pure solid putting stroke when putting the ball straight than when you are trying to guide the ball on a breaking putt. I hope this helps you to improve your putting.

Be careful with the shipping charges, some sellers hope you don’t realize how much it is until it’s too late. And I would steer clear of seller’s out of the country unless their feedback is perfect – I bought my Titleist DCI 962 irons on Ebay and they are exceptional -

Lately, I’ve been getting all my gear off ebay. Typically, I’ll go to a golf shop, test some clubs, find something I like and then monitor prices for it on Ebay until I find a good deal. And I’ve had tremendous luck so far. Anyone else for this strategy?

Can anyone recommend a genuine wholesale distributor for brand name golf equipment?
Looking to open a pro shop and I want to carry Callaway, Titleist, etc. products. I am looking for a supplier of these products and have not been able to locate one. I am not interested in carrying knock offs of brand name golf equipment.

I have a $100 gift certificate burning a hole im my pocket to a golf shop. What should I buy?
I am still in the early phases of my golf career (broke 100 twice). Should I dish out some of my own money for a nice driver? Buy a fairway wood? Buy a wedge? Buy a putter? All of my equipment is ok. I bought used equipment about a year ago that is name brand and previously highly rated. Chipping and putting are my biggest weakness but I have not practiced either too much. My game is not very long. Even when hitting well I am typically chipping for par.
Any ideas?
