Great Tips to Better Your Golf Slice It’s true that you don’t have to play a perfect game to actually enjoy the game of golf, but playing well certainly doesn’t hurt. The following tips have been developed to help you to better your golf slice and get more enjoyment out of playing the game. Visit Here now http://callawaygolf-club.blogspot.com/

– Take it easy – One of the most common mistakes made by people who struggle to improve their golf game is the inclination to simply pound the golf ball as hard as they can. When you carefully gauge the amount of strength that you use, you’ll actually have a significant increase in control, allowing the ball to take a longer and straighter shot from the tee. This is because when you use less of your power to actually strike the ball, your body will be turning faster than your arms as you downswing. It’s a quick and easy fix that makes an enormous difference.
– Keep your eyes on the prize – Make sure that you’re facing the place you’d like to send the ball. This may sound silly, but it’s not that obvious in practice. The majority of golf players keep their shoulders open when they hold their club. The result is that they are striking across the ball, sending it in a curve to one side (to the right for right-handed players and to the left for left-handed players). To repair this golf slice, turn your back away from your target and lower your right shoulder (left if you’re left-handed) to make your arm comfortable when you swing. This way, your shoulders won’t open and you won’t put a side-spin on the golf ball.
– Ease up on your grip – if you are holding your grip too tightly, your shot will suffer. Instead, keep your grip firm but relaxed, allowing you to square your club and reducing the chances of putting a spin on your golf ball. Consciously relax your grip when you swing so that you’ll feel your wrist draw back and snap forward. This will send the ball straight without curving off to the side.

– Know where to put the weight – you may naturally feel that the club should be lifted on the takeaway, but this will only turn into a pivot which results in a slice. If this is happening to you, you’ll want to concentrate on placing more of your weight on the opposite side of your body from where you’re aiming. This way, you’ll build strength in your turn and your backswing will have a better coil as you shift your weight in the downswing. It causes an extension that will get rid of your slice.
